Home Terms

Last updated: 1 February 2026

1. Booking & Deposit

A booking is confirmed once we receive a 25% deposit and issue a written confirmation. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before departure. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

2. Prices & Inclusions

Prices are quoted per person in US dollars and include accommodation, listed transfers, licensed Egyptologist guides, entrance fees to listed sites and meals as specified. International flights, visa fees, personal expenses, travel insurance and gratuities are not included unless stated.

3. Cancellation by the Traveller

Cancellations more than 30 days before departure are fully refundable minus bank charges. Between 30 and 15 days a fee of 25% of the tour price applies. Within 15 days of departure the booking is non-refundable. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

4. Changes & Amendments

One date change is permitted free of charge up to 21 days before departure, subject to availability. Further changes may incur supplier fees. We reserve the right to substitute hotels or adjust itineraries of equivalent standard when circumstances require.

5. Travel Documents & Insurance

Travellers are responsible for holding a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry and for obtaining any required visas. Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, cancellation and personal belongings is strongly recommended.

6. Health & Safety

Travellers must inform us of any medical conditions, mobility limitations or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Some sites involve uneven ground, steps and confined spaces. Our guides may restrict participation where safety is a concern.

7. Liability

We act as an agent for hotels, cruise operators, airlines and transport providers. We are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, strikes, civil unrest or government action.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo.
